This 16th century Grade II crook framed Cottage required extensive renovation after laying empty for many years.  Both internally and externally work was required to stabilise the primary structure, all works were overseen by English Heritage.  The properties floors, roof and windows were all replaced and an internal bathroom and kitchen were installed creating a charming family home.  This challenging project was designed and overseen by Samantha Starkie.
