Final Degree Project

For my final year project I developed a brownfield site into a small social housing development providing low carbon homes within Preston's city centre.  Grimshaw Street Gardens was designed to Passivhaus standards to ensure that each home would require minimal heating energy, and it's modular design and manufacturing process provided a low build cost with a significantly quicker construction programme producing a faster rate of return for investors with tenants moving in sooner.

Selection of Reports

A Special Study which accompanied my design project which looked at the drivers of fuel poverty and how building standards could help to reduce the number of families affected.
Conservation Module
This report formed part of a Conservation Module.  It sets out the significant features of Charnley House and it's re-development potential .
